•Beach Blanket Babylon
www.london-eating.co.uk
45 Ledbury Road, W11, 0207 229 2907
Funky and eccentric, Beach Blanket Babylon is

Tom Conran's Westbourne Park eatery is
about as far away from his father's showy establishments as it's possible to
get. Well, apart from the emphasis on fresh crustaceans! The Cow is always busy,
the seafood is fabulous and the Guinness is some of the best kept in town.
Definitely worth a visit.

•The Ledbury
www.ledbury.com

Every dish on of the moment chef Brett Graham's Modern French menu is a serious read,
with skills honed as sous-chef under Philip Howard at The Square. The combination of
flavours are sublime, and the attention to detail is like nothing Notting Hill has
seen before. Wines by the bottle or glass are stunning if not cheap, though the total bill
(around £130 for two) is softened by both service and cooking being
near faultless.

is palm-tree retro kitsch, bright splashes of colour to match those in the Sours
and Sunrises, and this bar is every bit as laid back and fun as intended.
